The Lifestyle

A beautiful blend of everyday and getaway

Living in the middle of 6,400 forested acres, with all the amenities of an award-winning resort at your fingertips, you’ll find your day striking a new balance. More active, likely. Maybe more restful, too. Full of simple pleasures. And more than a few creative indulgences. Whether you call Suncadia home part-time or full-time, welcome. You are among friends, as you will quickly discover on our trails, in our clubs, at community events. Even chatting at your kid’s school bus stop.

Hello, life in nature

It’s so easy to get your steps in when you’re on vacation. Or, if you’re a Suncadian, when you’re just living your everyday life. Let’s start with 40+ miles of beautiful, sun-dappled trails perfect for after-dinner strolls and conversations, meetups with the running club and Saturday family bike rides. If water is your thing, may we suggest paddleboarding in Nelson Lakes? River rafting. Or flyfishing with your kiddo in the Yakima’s Blue Ribbon waters.

See the fun in your future

Know your neighbors (it’s so easy)

Suncadia brings people together in ways that feel rare in mountain communities. Running into your neighbors at the Glade Spring Spa, Swim & Fitness Center and Nelson Farm will do that. You’ll start to recognize friendly faces in the restaurants, winery and shops too. (More on that below). And resident clubs make it easy to find your hobby soulmates, whether you lean toward pickleball or bridge games. You can also opt for a golf or social membership in the Suncadia Club or Tumble Creek Club.

The good life starts with a good education

Each morning when the big yellow bus pulls up, Suncadia parents feel great seeing their kids climb aboard. Children in Suncadia attend schools in the Cle Elum-Roslyn School District, known for high academic expectations and strong community support. The district includes four schools: Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary, Walter Strom Middle School, Cle Elum-Roslyn High School and Swiftwater Learning Center. Getting your kids to school is a snap with multiple bus stops in our community.
