Winter blahs? Not around here
Not with our four-season sunny skies and our four-season get-outside-and-play attitude. Suncadia’s Cascade Mountain winters are perfect for outdoor fun ranging from axe-throwing and snowperson-building contests to snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and more. Bundle up and join us.
Check the Winter Activity Guide for current hours and prices.
Glice Skating
Skate under the sun or stars
Make the rounds at the outdoor glice rink at the Village Pavilion, then warm up with some hot cocoa and s’mores by the firepit. (By the way, you can skate year-round on our eco-friendly synthetic glice.) All ages are welcome. Skate rentals available or bring your own for a discount. PS-Come to our community skate nights on Tuesdays for the price of a non-perishable food item.
Snowshoeing and Nordic Skiing
Happy (snowy) trails
Soak up the sun — and the blissful quiet — and keep your eyes open for wildlife as you snowshoe or cross-country ski on miles of groomed trails and inviting flats. Go on your own or take a guided tour. Trails are open to the public at no charge. Pick up some rentals and cozy winter gear at The Winter Shop at Prospector Golf Course. Call (509) 649-6401 for details.
More winter experiences
Thrills in the chill
Here are some more ways to rev up your winter weekends and school breaks. Zip downhill on our tubing and sledding hill, with a handy rope tow. Or just pick a hill, any hill (gravity works really well around here). Grab a snowmobile for outings on miles of groomed trails. Go it alone, or with a guide you can cover more miles and see more hidden terrain and wildlife. Advance reservations required. Contact the concierge at (509) 649-6460.
