A little slice of history that’s big fun
This 1890s dairy farm — complete with original farmhouse, barn, cabin and stables — has been creatively repurposed as an active, year-round gathering place. Think concerts, harvest festivals and family-friendly fun at the pump track, community garden, pool and eatery. Come one, come all.
Axe throwing
Unleash your inner lumberjack
Sharpen your aim at the Paul Bunyan throwing lanes, where knowledgeable instructors are happy to teach you the basics of effective axe throwing. Beards and plaid shirts optional, but closed-toe shoes required. Ages 12 and older.
Community garden
Farm-to-table and very local
Wander through lush rows of fresh fruits and vegetables, lovingly grown and served at Suncadia’s many restaurants. Or join an expert gardener for occasional hands-in-the-dirt workshops. Next to the garden, an outdoor mall plays host to small gatherings, concerts and farmer’s markets throughout the year.
Playground and pump track
Two-for-one under the sun
These side-by-side outdoor amenities will keep the kids (and you) moving. Nelson Farm Playground provides nature-inspired structures for climbing, swinging and sliding. Need more? Bike, skateboard or rollerblade on the Nelson Farm Pump Track. Get your gear at the Suncadia Rental Pavilion.
Pool
Splashing encouraged, actually
Little ones adore the interactive splash pad, but that’s not all. Exclusive to members of Suncadia and Tumble Creek Clubs, Nelson Farm Pool also features a zero-entry leisure pool, small-scale lazy river and whirlpool. Nellie’s Restaurant features grab-and-go poolside dining, cocktails, beer, and wine for purchase. Open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
