Best friends welcome here

Suncadia might be the friendliest pet-friendly resort in Washington State. The resort features an expansive trail system great for on-leash walks, as well as an off-leash dog park and welcome amenities that will keep your pooch’s tail a-wagging. We now also offer private dog walking and in-room/in-home dog sitting to make your stay a vacation for everyone. We welcome dogs (only) of all shapes and sizes — simply book our special, pet-friendly accommodations.
When you book a pet-friendly room or home, you’ll receive the following pooch-approved perks:

  • House-made Suncadia dog treats
  • Food/water bowl
  • Trail map
  • Doggie waste bags
  • Rope toy

Suncadia requires all guests bringing pets to follow our pet policy guidelines so that all guests enjoy their time at the resort:

  • Pets (dogs) should be under their owner’s care at all times.
  • Additional fees and/or deposits are required, depending upon accommodation type.
  • Pet-friendly rooms are very limited and reservations are based upon availability.
  • To guarantee availability, notification of pet stays MUST be made at time of booking.

Please see our Suncadia Policies page for additional pet details. At check-in, you will be asked to sign a document outlining your responsibilities at check-in. To complete this form in advance, download it here.

Wildlife Protection

To ensure the safety of our guests and surrounding wildlife please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Do not allow dogs to menace, chase or interact with wildlife. Violators will be reported to the Department of Fish and Wildlife, which may fine the dog owner $500 or more.
  • Please be extra cautious during the spring and early summer when there are fawns, bear cubs and other wildlife young.
  • Dogs are not to be walked on elk trails or within the woods. Only trails that are marked as walking trails may be used.

Dawson Dog Park

Please enjoy the dog park with your pet, but remember that although dogs may be off-leash, they must be under verbal control of their owner or caretaker at all times.
