He adds that the house is built with energy efficiency in mind. “It’s very well insulated, it has high end heating and AC, and top-of-the-line Energy Star appliances in stainless steel. “When I build a house, I build to the pattern of life, meaning that a house should reflect a family,” says Bird. “This is a house that is friendly and is designed to provide space for kids and space for adults.”
