Mornings are when Nelson Farm shines brightest. Sun‑Up Ride & Play turns the Farm into a high‑energy starting line for your day, built for families already on the move and ready to jump into adventure before the afternoon heat kicks in.

Whether you arrive by foot, bike, or scooter, kids can climb and explore the nature‑inspired playground, race the pump track, and wander through the garden to spot what’s growing, and maybe even catch the gardener in action.

Then choose your next adventure: lawn games, archery, axe throwing, gel blaster fun, and rotating inflatable play (select days). It’s playful, flexible, and packed with energy, designed to flow naturally into the rest of your day.

  • When: Thursday-Saturday @ 3pm. We anticipate that the tour will take 2-3 hours.
  • Max of 10 participants who all need to be over the age of 21.
  • Includes: 2-3 hours of guided e-biking, first round of drinks, and shareables at the Brick.

Suncadia Sculpture Series
Created by Washington artist Julie Speidel, Suncadia’s trailside sculpture series tells the story of the land and the people who have shaped it over time. Each collection of totems honors a different chapter in the region’s history, celebrating the natural forces, cultures, and communities that have left a lasting legacy.

  • Suncadia – A symbol of the sun, representing light, life, community, and the enduring connection shared across every era of the region’s history.
  • The Land – Honors the mountains, rivers, and forests that have sustained generations and remain at the heart of the Suncadia story.
  • Native Americans – Recognizes the first inhabitants of the region and their deep respect for the land and its natural abundance.

KEEN Summer Camps

KEEN is excited to offer two unique summer camp experiences designed to foster a love for nature, adventure, and personal growth.

Pond to Pines Summer Day Camp

Pond to Pines is a nature-based day camp that sparks curiosity and creativity in children. This camp is specifically designed for kids who love the outdoors and want to explore the natural world.

  • Location: Yakima Canyon Interpretive Center
  • Age groups: Grades K-5
  • Duration: 9am-3pm
  • Cost: $60-$120

At Pond to Pines, campers engage in hands-on activities, including:

  • Exploring the outdoors through nature walks and discovery
  • Participating in arts, crafts, and STEM programs
  • Enjoying games, songs, and group activities

KEEN’s goal is to provide a fun and educational experience that fosters a deeper connection with nature and builds confidence in our campers.

Wild Horizons Adventure Camps

Wild Horizons offers multi-day adventure programs for older kids and teens ages 10-16. This program focuses on building outdoor skills, teamwork, and leadership.

  • Location: Various locations, including Suncadia Resort
  • Age groups: Open to older kids and teens
  • Duration: Varies (some programs are multi-day or overnight)
  • Cost: $60-$180

Wild Horizons programs include:

  • Guided hikes and backpacking trips
  • Rafting
  • Water sports and activities
  • Team-building and leadership development

The Wild Horizons programs are designed to challenge campers and help them develop new skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
